Film Description
Director Farouq Suleiman was commissioned through Sherbet to create a four minute animated film based on Lady Macbeth’s famous quote “out damned spot”; s poken as she walks in her sleep dreaming about washing blood from her hands. Working closely with art director and animator, Ben Sayer, Farouq designed and manipulated layers of photomontage to explore underlying themes in the play and in popular iconography that has developed in response to the play during the last four hundred years.
Film London will to distribute the film as part of a large scale touring programme, disseminated UK wide and internationally.
